Residents left this house in Yampol, Ukraine, after the Chernobyl nuclear accident in 1986. The nuclear disaster was the result of a flawed reactor design that was operated with inadequately trained personnel. Next ghost town is really creepy!

Residents of Parsons Harbour in Newfoundland, Canada, left for larger settlements leaving behind a completely abandoned town.

“Though removals were voluntary, some residents claim to have been misled into leaving,” reported National Geographic in 1984.

A ghost village that lies forever still on Bonaire Island, a special municipality of the Netherlands. Bonaire became a plantation of the Dutch West India Company during the 1800s.
