#25. Two Manatees In Florida

Back in 2017,two manatees got stuck on a dune in Florida after a hurricane struck the coast and they couldn't go back to the ocean. A group of locals spotted the two terrified animals and tried to help them, but moving them was too hard a task.

They soon realized they would need help, so they posted a video on social media, hoping that it would quickly become viral. Fortunately, thousands of people shared the video and dozens of volunteers showed up at the site. Eventually, with everyone's help, both manatees were brought back to the ocean.

#24. Odin And The Goats

Odin is a Great Pyrenees who played an important role in the Californian wildfires of 2017. His family packed everything up and got in their car to escape to a safer place before the fire could reach them, but their puppy refused to get in the car.

Apparently, the brave pooch wanted to stay with the family's goats, so they had no choice but to leave him behind. Some days later, when they returned to their house, they found Odin and the goats merrily playing in the garden!

We bet you've heard of Harvey The Hurricane Hawk before, right? When a taxi driver went back to his cab, he was welcomed by this gigantic hawk. The animal was so terrified that he just wouldn't dare move an inch. Therefore, the cab driver decided to record a video which he then uploaded on YouTube.

The video went viral in only a few hours. After spending a whole night inside William Bruso's cab, Texas Wildlife Rehab Coalition took Harvey to a bird shelter, where he received proper medical care.

Pete Mayher was going through a rough year, but things went downhill when his dog Wizzer went missing. He spent months and months looking for him all around the city, but he gave up two years later. However, 5 years after his disappearance, the unbelievable happened.

After Hurricane Irma struck the state of Florida in 2017, Pete received a phone call that left him awestruck. Apparently, someone had found Wizzer abandoned in the street and taken him to the vet. Luckily, the pooch carried a microchip thanks to witch the vets managed to track Pete down.

Amid the torrential rains of Hurricane Harvey, a photographer called Ruaraidh Connellan took a photo of a dog tied to a pole. Ruaraidh didn't hesitate and saved his life. After setting him free, the pooch led the man to his house, but when they arrived, he realized there wasn't any sign of human life.

Surprisingly, another dog, a little pony and a family of cats were roaming through the front yard, but it seemed like the family has fled in search of a safer place and left the animals behind. Ruaraidh called animal services and all of the pets were taken to a safe refuge.

Aaron Jayjack is a well-known professional storm chaser whose life changed after Hurricane Harvey. One day, when the hurricane had already struck Texas, Aaron was heading off to work when a dog sneaked into his Jeep. But the crazy part is that he couldn't make him leave!

Since the pooch refused to leave the car, he shared the story on Twitter and drove him back home. His story was shared by 15,000 users, and it went so viral that it was seen by the dog's real owners. The pooch's family reached out to Aaron and the family was reunited.

Marília Pieroni and Matheus Gomes Martins decided to get married at a beach in Brazil, but they were so unlucky that heavy rainfall started pouring down right in the middle of the ceremony. The whole crowd had to be rushed to a tent to finish the wedding, but they didn't go alone!

The girl created a Tinder profile featuring photos of her cat. People started sharing it and a man that matched with her profile told her that the cat was with him. The next day, Peanut went back home and reunited with his owner.

During Hurrican Harvey, a news crew found a dog tied on a front porch in Texas. Apparently, the owner had escaped and left the dog behind, guessing that the water wouldn't rise that high.

Luckily, thetown Sheriffand the news crew rescued the dog. When the owner found out about it on the news, he announced that he wasn't planning on going back home any time soon, so Sheriff Nehls decided to adopt the dog himself.

Anka is a stray cat from Istanbul, Turkey, who was one day struck by a car and left disabled. The story of this paralyzed cat went viral and everything changed when the staff of Tabby's Place, a cat sanctuary in New Jersey, saw it.

The sanctuary offered to assist Anka and a few weeks later, the cat became the 10th paraplegic cat to join their sanctuary. He now lives a normal life surrounded by caring people and other fellow cats.

During Hurricane Harvey, at least 25 inches of rain fell in Texas in only one day, and when it finally stopped raining, people had to call the police. But why?

When everyone headed out to the street, they realized that the whole town was full of cows. Apparently, they had managed to escape their farm once the storm tore down the fences, and the police had to escort the dozens of animals back to their safe place.

Wildlife Waystation is a sanctuary where more than 500 animals live. During the 2017 California wildfires, the workers had very little time to evacuate and the owner was really scared. She really didn't want to leave the animals to die.

Fortunately, the sanctuary's volunteers received the help of the town's firefighters and they successfully relocated more than 200 animals. Luckily, all of the animals returned safely to the sanctuary once the fires stopped.

The theme park Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay had to move their flamingos to a shelter because of Hurricane Irma. Since all of them were in danger, the park activated an emergency plan and relocated 20,000 animals to a protected area.

The flamingos walked in a single line to their final destination, which was a room full of portraits of tigers and other wild animals. They stayed there for a couple of days until the storms went away before being sent back to Bush Gardens.

The two best friends were separated once they arrived at the rescue center, but they became so stressed and depressed that they were put back together. When their story was shared on social media, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan decided to adopt them.

#3. The Goat Rescuers

On a summer morning, a group of people saw two goats walking along the beach line of the N train in Brooklyn. They immediately called Animal Care, who quickly showed up at the site and drove the two goats to one of their rescue centers.

The goats spent a few months at the rescue center before being relocated to a nearby Farm Sanctuary ran by Jon and Tracey Stewart, who looked after them for the rest of their lives.
