Georgia
Georgia is known as the Peach State, but many people would argue that its citizens don’t even know how to spell peach, as shown by this photo.

Hawaii
Hawaii is arguably one of the most beautiful states in America. It is mostly known for its landscapes, which include many active volcanoes.

Maine
Maine is the perfect state for those who don’t mind the cold. It is known for its frigid waters and ample fishery. Arguably the best you can get there is the famous Maine Lobster.

Maryland
Maryland is known for its blue crabs and for Baltimore, the most famous city in the country. The city was a major historical trading port and was the birthplace of the National Anthem.

New Jersey
New Jersey is known for its beautiful beaches and vibrant nightlife. There’s always something to do, and that’s why people like it there so much.
One thing the state is famous for is also the Jersey Shore and its “Guido” culture, which is definitely not the most appealing style out there. The state has a 57.8% vaccination rate.
New Mexico
New Mexico is known for its warm, desert weather and beautiful places to visit. It’s also a great place to live since it has one of the highest education rates in the country.

New York
New York is best known for New York City, one of the most famous cities in the world and has many great things to offer, but New Yorkers will be the first people to tell you that the city is not like what you see in the movies.

North Carolina

Oklahoma
The people of Oklahoma are hard workers - it’s even in the state’s motto, which translates from Latin to ‘Labor conquers all things.’ They are also known for being creative and making use of whatever they have.

Ohio
Ohio is known as the Buckeye State because Buckeye trees grow there… and that’s pretty much all we can say about Ohio at this point.

Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania is a very diverse state that has many things to offer. However, if there’s one thing the state is famous for, it’s its large Amish population.

South Dakota
South Dakota welcomes thousands of tourists every year thanks to its biggest attraction: Mount Rushmore. When it comes to tourism, this state really does it well.
However, the state is also known for having lots of buffalos, many of which roam free. It’s important to stay away from them unless you want them to murder you in cold blood. 46.6% of its inhabitants are fully vaccinated.
Tennessee
If you want to fit in in Tennessee, you have to embrace two things: guns and camo. Once you have that, you’ll become one of them. Hunting is also a big sport in Tennessee, so if that’s what you’re into, then you should definitely visit.

Texas
Texas is the home of the cowboys. They love rodeos, horses, and guns, and pretty much every stereotype you’ve heard about this southern state is true.

Polygamy is a crime in most states. Not only that, but it is something that is very frowned upon - except in Utah. Of all things this state could be famous for, it is polygamy.

Vermont
Vermont is obviously not part of Canada, though as far as many people are concerned, it very well could be. It is very far up north and a large part of it shares a border with Canada, so this state kind of gets the best of both worlds.

Wisconsin

Wyoming
