The new TV show will be an autobiographical farce based on the early life of the comedian. Chelsea Handler says she will not actually star in the series, but will almost certainly co-produce it. Maybe starring in it would be too close to home for her – real life, especially life like this, can be raw…

Chelsea Handler In The News

Chelsea Handler is invariably headline news material – whatever she does is seen as news. Rap artist 50 Cent and Chelsea Handler were ostensibly seen at the Blue Nile jazz bar in New Orleans and hit the headlines. Chelsea and 50 Cent also apparently partied long and hard at s bar in Los Angeles to commemorate one of her friends’ birthdays – Then there was of course the recent controversy over the alleged ‘sex tapes’ of her that were released on the internet – newsworthy indeed.

Behind Chelsea Handler

Chelsea Handler was raised in Livingston, New Jersey, by Mormon parents, and says that growing up, she felt like an interloper because all the other kids were driven around in had Mercedes and Jaguars, whilst she was going to school in a Pinto.

When she was 19, Chelsea Handler moved from New Jersey to Los Angeles and began chasing an acting career. She apparently changed her mind and decided to become a stand-up comic after she found she had a talent for making people laugh.

The revelation was unanticipated by many, including MTV, which maintained that the final verdict was unexpected.
