The restaurant is a vegetarian place and even though they do serve wine and beer on their non-alcoholic menu they have a section called “libation” where they offer drinks such as smoothies which come with frozen bananas and apple juice and blended with your choice of one of the following: strawberry, blueberry, mango or peach, or you can order a mango lassie which is a sweet mango yogurt drink and of course you can still order sodas, water, ginger beer and fresh juices.
Each section of their menu has an appealing name like primordial energy where you can order a hummus plate which includes garbanzos, garlic, tahini, lemon juice and is served with Nan bread, or samosas which are two potato and pea pastries, served with mint and tamarind chutney.
On their big bang entries you can order Buddha’s delight which is curried vegetables, Dahl, samosa, pappadam, rice and Nan bread, their spinach enchiladas which are three red corn tortillas topped with cheese sauce and served with black beans, rice and a salad, or their Socrates Plato which is spicy Portobello mushrooms over basmati rice served with garlic Nan bread and a salad or even the Bombay sage which is sautéed lentils rolled in flour tortillas and served with salad, mango chutney and pappadam.
