London based digital dictation and voice recognition provider, G2 Speech UK Ltd has been appointed to the Yorkshire and Humber framework agreement for the supply of digital dictation and voice recognition.
The Yorkshire and Humber NHS Commercial Procurement Collaborative was formed on the 1st April 2007 and currently consists of 36 member organisations within the boundaries of the NHS Yorkshire and Humber Strategic Health Authority.
Trusts belonging to this framework will be able to move away from the use of inefficient tape based analogue dictation systems to create documentation which is hampering Referral to Treatment (RTT) times without having to go through costly and time consuming tender exercises.
Henry Gallagher, Managing Director of G2 Speech UK says: “The strength of G2 Speech is that we assist trusts and hospitals in defining and realising their goals of efficiency, flexibility, cost-savings and quality in the process of professional document creation. These goals can be reached with our total-solution MediSpeech, which is the most comprehensive, high-quality and innovative product in the market. The solution realises a faster throughput of a high volume of reports and documents. The specialists can choose their own preferred workflow with either digital dictation, back-end or front-end speech recognition to make the process for them as easy as possible. This optimises the workflow and therefore the quality of care will be improved. We are happy to be selected for the Yorkshire and Humber framework agreement, so in the future more hospitals and trusts will be able to benefit from our MediSpeech solution.”
G2 Speech has extensive experience in trust-wide implementations of the MediSpeech solution. The company offers excellent service and has employees that understand the market and their needs well.
