If you’re a kid, you should know how to spot a scam and avoid it. Some scam can cost you money and even jail time. I knew a kid who went to jail because he follows a scam and he didn’t know that it was a scam. He had to pay for lawyer’s fee and then pay for the bank too. Some scams online are devastating for children. You should know how to spot them and talk to your children about it too.

Buying programs

There are too many websites online that are dedicated to buying lectures and programs. They have a page with cars and fake testimonies about how to become rich over night. You can’t become rich overnight by using the programs. It’s just there so the owner can generate for revenue for himself by selling you fake or bogus programs. These are nothing but scams. If you see a large Mercedes with a lot of testimonials and then ask you to pay $40 you should leave the site right away.

Envelope stuffing

This is a straight scam. It’s nothing more than a scam. It will tell you to buy stamps and then send out envelopes that are nothing more than scams. You will be mailing out chain letters telling people to mail out chain letters again. It’s just a scam. It’s nothing more than a scam. You should avoid this kind of work.

Paying to join certain websites like dating websites

There are a lot of websites that charge you to join like some dating websites. You should know that these are nothing more than scams. You should not have to pay too much for dating websites. There are plenty of free websites and you don’t need to pay to join.

Pay to work

If you’re asked to pay in order to work, it’s a scam. Legitimate companies would hire you for free, however, there are many companies that would ask you to pay in order to work. If they do you should leave the site and find other work.
