There are things that one can do to improve one’s PCs performance. To get the most out of your computer and to keep it running, spend a few minutes daily maintaining your PC.
After surfing the internet, you never know what unsafe sites you have been to or what’s been picked up during that time.Therfore, it’s important to do a complete sweep for spyware on the hard drive, daily, and quarantine the computer.
Another thing that one can do to improve one’s computer performance is to clean out one’s temporary internet files. To do so, click on “Tools” and scroll down to “Internet Options.” From the pop up menu, click on the “General” tab and from “Temporary Internet Files,” delete all cookies, files and clear history.
Update programs and perform a disk cleanup weekly.
To improve performance one can also deleted “Error Messages.” First begin the process by clicking on “My Computer.” Then right click on “Local Disk C. Click on “Properties” from the drop down menu. Then click on “Tools.” Click on “Check Now” under “Error Checking.” Check off both “Automatically Fix File System Errors” and “Scan for and Attend Recovery of Bad Sectors,” at the bottom of the page.
Another way in which on can improve one’s PC performance is to install a memory card.
