How To Prepare Greek Country Salad

This one is a healthy salad which can be eaten as breakfast for the calorie conscious people who would like to have something light in the morning.This salad dish could also be combined with the main course at lunch and dinner times.This is a very good health dish as it is nutritious and is extremely low on carbohydrates and cholesterol that are the main factors causing heart ailments.

Let us look at the ingredients that would be required to prepare this dish:

Cherry tomatoes – Six in number
Kalamata Olives – Eight in number
Lemon Juice – 2 tbsp
Oregano Leaves – 1 tbsp
Red Onion – One in number
Lebanese Cucumber – One in number
Bell Peppers – Colored red and yellow, Two in number
White Wine Vinegar – 2 tbsp
Feta Cheese – 100 gms
Olive Oil – 1/2 Cup
Black Pepper – 1/2 tbsp
Salt – 1 tsp

Now let us look at the method of preparation:

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
Cut the lebanese cucumbers in square.
Cut the red onions in rings.
Crack the black peppers.
Cut the bell peppers in square.

Take a large serving bowl.
Add the cherry tomatoes,lebanese cucumbers,red onion,kalamata olives,bell peppers,feta cheese,organo
leaves and black peppers into the large serving bowl.
Make a dressing with the white wine vinegar and lemon juice over the prepared salad mixture.

Toss the salad inside the bowl so that it mixes properly.
