Chocolate dipped spoons are always a welcomed treat for children getting in from a cold school bus or a long day of playing in the snow. They also make a great treat in a morning cup of coffee. This simple recipe will help you make white chocolate dipping spoons that will look great displayed and taste great also!
Things You’ll Need:
- Several Plastic Spoons
- 6 oz white chocolate
- 6 oz dark chocolate
- Waxed paper
- Cookie sheet
- Clear cellophane
To make White Chocolate Dipping Spoons start by lining a cookie sheet with wax paper.
Next you will need to melt the white chocolate and dark chocolate in seperate bowls. Use the microwave directions on your chocolate packages (Usually 30 seconds then stir and repeat until done using half power). Continue microwaving until chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Dip half of your spoons into the dark chocolate and the other half into the white chocolate. Once dipped place the chocolate dipped spoons on a waxed paper covered cookie sheet and allow to cool.
After the chocolate has cooled use a separate spoon to drizzle the alternating chocolate on top of each spoon while on the cookie sheet. You can get pretty creative with this part if you would like or just let the chocolate fall naturally.
Place cookie sheet with spoons in refrigerator until the chocolate is completely hardened.
After the chocolate covered spoons are completely hardened remove them from the cookie sheet and wrap them in cellophane. Tie each with a ribbon and place in a jar on your counter or table top for decoration.
