Meanwhile, Prince Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck (you don't hear that name every day!) was just a teenager at the time.

Allegedly, the prince promised Jetsun that the two would get married once they grew up, and surprise surprise, so they did! By the time they married in 2008, Jigme was already the King, so Jetsun was crowned as the Queen of Bhutan. They became parents in 2016 and are hoping to have more children.

Sonja Haraldsen's royal romance was one of the greatest royal scandals of all time, let me tell you that! They saw each other for the second time at the Prince's graduation party, and that was when they were first photographed together!

Ever since his graduation, the Prince and Sonja began dating, but... in secret! As crazy as it sounds, they secretly dated for 9 whole years, until Prince Herald put his foot down: he told his father he would never claim the heir unless he was given the permission of marrying Sonja. What can we say about Meghan and Harry that you don't know already? They're only like our favorite couple ever! Meghan Markle made her acting debut with a secondary role on Deal Or No Deal, but her big break came in 2011 with the famous American series Suit.

But 2016 was the year that changed it all. She met Prince Harry almost by luck, thanks to a mutual friend, and one and a half years later, they announced their engagement. Last but not least, here's the most scandalous royal wedding of all time. It all began in the early 30s, when the American socialite Wallis Simpson fell in love with King Edward VIII of England. But there's one small detail we're missing: at the time, Wallis was still married to her second husband, Ernest Aldrich Simpson!

Not only did Wallis file for divorce, but King Edward backed down from the royalty in December 1936 in order to marry her loved one. The two lovebirds got married half a year later, and the ceremony was all the tabloids talked about that year. I know what you're thinking: if Edward stepped back from the royalty, then Wallis was never a royal. Wrong! After their marriage, Edward's brother, King George VI, named Edward the Duke of Windsor, making Wallis the Duchess!
